Yvonne Praeger finds her inspiration for her oil paintings in flora und fauna. The German artist, currently living near Bern in Switzerland, discovered painting herself early on in her career. Her artworks capture her fascination for nature as she creates plasticity through a dedicated use of colour, light and shadows. The award winning artist has become popular through her "blow-up" effect in her flower paintings that creates a special connection with the spectator.
