Bentwood in architecture, horticulture and design

Our specialty is steam-bent solid wood - naturally made from 100% Swiss wood. In our wood bending plant - run by the third generation of the Winkler family - we create aesthetic furniture, components and art objects. They all have one thing in common: they are robust, durable and sustainable.

HARMONICA: formed from solid oak, almost anything is possible with this round bench in terms of length, shape and radii.

ARBOSEDA: a typical tree bench, solid and weatherproof made of durable larch or oak for parks, gardens or bus stops.

LEUGGERN: simply a perfect outdoor bench for parks or private gardens, stable and elegant.

GISCHBERG: the little sister of the LEUGGERN is lighter and cheaper, yet durable and maintenance-free.

LOLA: Designer Shaun Hürlimann has created this brand-new, unique table-and-bench combination for us, crafted from steam-bent solid wood.

MILLISEDE: The ‘centipede’ among round benches is designed for free-form layouts. It literally winds its way through parks and gardens or across public spaces.

VORTEX: Swirling and dynamic, a bench with that certain something. This special wooden bench is spiral-shaped and looks almost like a blossoming flower.

ANOBIUM: This stool-style bench (now also available with an optional backrest) also offers plenty of flexibility and scope for individual design ideas.

IDEM: This unique, streamlined bentwood bench is available in numerous variations. Its partly tapered, steam-bent wooden components are arranged in a wave-like pattern.

GRAVIS: Made from solid, steam-bent wood, this circular bench withstands even adverse weather conditions such as cold, snow and sunlight.

BRITANNICA: A tried-and-tested design reinterpreted and inspired by the English landed gentry. This bench celebrates the time-honoured and the solid, and is a reliable, enduring asset.

CAPITALIS: This bench, with its sweeping lines and elegance, is perfect for spacious parks, expansive green spaces and well-designed relaxation areas in urban settings (public furniture).
