Brass - a metal with history. Brass is one of the oldest materials in the world.

There is evidence that as early as the 3rd millennium BC, the first peoples combined copper and zinc carbonate to produce the alloy brass. As is so often the case, it was the Romans who used the material on a larger scale and made vessels, coins and doorplates from it.

Brass has numerous advantages, which is why it is used in so many areas. The alloy of copper and zinc is harder than pure copper. Last but not least, it is so popular because it looks almost like gold and has a very noble appearance.

The effect of the brass object depends largely on the surface treatment:

Shiny polished surfaces are the eye-catcher in any area, they look classy and high-quality and are reminiscent of precious gold.

Do you prefer a more understated and warmer look? Then we recommend a matt finish.
