Don't miss out: another bench design premiere at Giardina!
This unique, streamlined bench made of solid bentwood is celebrating its debut at Giardina 2026. The partially iconic tapered, steam-bent wooden components are arranged in waves, resulting in a wealth of possible variations.
The special feature of the IDEM curved bench is that the slats running lengthwise along the bench all have the same radius but different lengths and profiles. This changes the seat depth of the bench and creates an extremely exciting dynamic that has an inspiring effect. The wave-like arrangement of the identical elements further enhances this effect.
In addition, despite the high degree of flexibility in terms of design, length, and radii, it allows us to produce more efficiently than with conventional curved benches. This is because the slats taper towards the ends, which means we can construct the seat from identical parts.

You can find the IDEM and a whole host of other fantastic bentwood applications live at our stand: Hall 2 – H10. After the opening event on March 10th, the Giardina will remain open to visitors until March 15th.
