By using cargo bikes, we avoid unnecessary emissions and contribute to a better quality of life in Zurich. With two of us on the road, we still have a capacity of 4 m3 and can transport a payload of around 320 kg.
Less use of road space, fewer pollutant emissions, a lower risk of fatal traffic accidents, less noise pollution, fewer microplastic particles and less particulate matter are other factors why we always prefer bicycles when possible.
We don't compensate for emissions - we don't cause them in the first place!
It also means that some work processes or customer gardens have to be thought about differently. For example, from the point of view of closed cycles, as far as possible no green waste should be disposed of, but instead returned to the nutrient cycle on site through composting. This in turn promotes biodiversity, as a compost heap is a diverse habitat for animals and microorganisms.
Even if it is not always easy to establish new processes and always sound out the limits in advance, we strive - through planning, design and conception - to reduce resource consumption to a maximum at all levels.
