Roof greening of the Berry garden house

A green roof not only looks great, it also helps to clean the air of fine dust and dirt. The popular Berry garden sheds with mono-pitched roofs can now be extended so that a green roof is possible.

On 1 March 2024, an innovative new feature will be introduced for all three sizes of Berry shed with mono-pitch roof: an 80 mm high roof frame including fastening material as preparation for a green roof in the appropriate size. Thanks to their high-quality construction, Berry sheds can be fitted with a green roof and this unique selling point sets them apart from the competition.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Temperature equalisation in the shed
  • Visual enhancement of the roof
  • Positive environmental impact
  • Noise reduction during rain and hailstorms
  • also acts as a water reservoir during heavy rainfall
  • The roof can be loaded with up to 65 kg per square metre

The material required to green the roof can be ordered directly via the website of our co-operation partner Nophadrain. Three corresponding landing pages will be activated by mid-March. Hörmann dealers will receive special price discounts for the purchase of Nophadrain green roofs via these landing pages.

We think and act green

As a family-owned company, we are aware of our responsibility for future generations and offer all products for residential construction as CO2-neutral as standard. In addition, products for commercial construction are also available as CO2-neutral options at the customer's request. This gives customers the opportunity to assume the compensation costs for remaining emissions with their purchase decision and thus make an active contribution. With its climate protection strategy, Hörmann is pursuing the goal of reducing and avoiding emissions. We offset the remaining emissions by promoting certified climate protection projects in co-operation with ClimatePartner.
