The terrace grating with a stainless steel substructure and Accoya wood surfacing combines timeless elegance with the highest material quality. Thanks to its clear design language and durable components, it integrates harmoniously into a wide variety of garden, balcony, and terrace designs. The applications are versatile: whether as balcony flooring, terrace stairs, walkways, bridges, benches, or pool surrounds – the terrace grating excels both functionally and aesthetically.
All gratings consist of individual, removable elements. These can be moved by hand for cleaning and maintenance work, which enables simple care and long-term value retention. The stable stainless steel substructure ensures permanent dimensional stability and high load-bearing capacity, while reliably protecting the wood from rising ground moisture.
By default, we rely on Accoya® – our first choice in terms of quality, sustainability, and longevity. We now also offer terrace gratings in Sipo, Douglas fir, Siberian larch, local larch, and IPE upon request. Other wood species can be supplied, but are not recommended based on our many years of experience and various technical and qualitative aspects.
Accoya® is not a distinct tree species, but a specially modified wood. The raw material used is fast-growing pine from sustainably managed forests in New Zealand. The wood can be harvested and processed after only about 25 years. Through an innovative process known as acetylation, the wood is treated with acetic anhydride. This permanently changes the molecular structure: Accoya® becomes particularly dimensionally stable, resistant to moisture, and resistant to insect and fungal attack. At the same time, the material remains 100% natural and free of toxins.
