The model is from the 19th century, the sculpture offered is a recast. It shows a wonderful depiction of a young woman dressed for a festival (traditional costume).
The posture as well as the details are of extraordinary beauty. The sculpture shows a moving tension in the sculpture. The drapery shows a movement opposite to the face. While the wind and the dress indicate the temperament of youth, the face in relation to the hands shows a concentration in relation to the hands. It is one of the best representations of a young woman. I found it in the museum of the foundry.
Unfortunately, the provenance is no longer known.
