How Boum works - urban gardening made easy
The Boum system makes urban gardening simple, smart and sustainable: plants in Boum pots, connected to a solar-powered water reservoir, automatically feed themselves via wicks - including app monitoring for water, fertilizer and plant care.
The Boum system combines elegant Boum pots with a solar-powered water tank including pump controller - without any external power source. The tank supplies up to 12 pots via a Quick Connect hose system, in which plants draw water from the reservoir independently via wicks.
The specially adapted Boum soil ensures optimum water absorption through capillary action - rain is ideally collected in the pots and excess water is avoided.
The Boum app connects to the controller via WLAN: you can see the water level, consumption, temperature and receive recommendations for planting or fertilizing.
Suitable plants are tested in the Boum range - herbs, vegetables, perennials or trees that fit perfectly into the system.
